In Ascoli Piceno, central areas have average selling values between about €1,350 and €1,850 per square metre (€/m²), while outlying areas range from €550 to €800/m². These are the OMI property values (quotazioni OMI) of the Italian Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle Entrate): the average values that the Agency publishes every half-year, zone by zone, with minimum and maximum in euros per square metre, for homes in normal condition. The figures shown here are from the 1st half of 2026.
There are 17 zones with values. If you are looking at an auction in Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Roma and nearby streets (zone B1), the OMI reference runs from €1,400 to €1,900/m². If the auction is in the Centro Storico (zone B2), the reference runs from €1,300 to €1,800/m². In the outskirts, at Valle Cupa (zone D6), it is between €1,150 and €1,600/m². Half of the zones have a minimum below €950/m² and half above: this is the median of the minimums. The comparison should be made with this range, not with a single number.
For those thinking of renting, the rents under registered contracts are the average registered rents recorded by the Italian Revenue Agency.
